Subject: In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida guitarist Erik Braunn dies

:'( :'( :'( Another sad loss in the music world....
Erik Braunn died of heart failure on July 25. I didn't find out about it until yesterday. Iron butterfly's one hit was the 17-minute "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida." This Monday would have been his 53rd birthday.

I'm really bummed about today. Today would have been Erik's 53rd birthday, but he died July 25. Erik Keith Braunn was a very gifted person. He was a concert violinist at age seven, joined Iron Butterfly at age sixteen, played guitar on "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" at age seventeen. His death is a major loss for me. :'(
