There was a British movie called 'Bend it like Beckham'. It was basically about an asian girl that wanted to be a part of the girls football team but was hindered by her domineering parents - I thought it was quite hokey and showed David Beckham about a couple of minutes from the end in a shameless cameo.

I loved the first half hour of 'Jeepers Creepers' until the part where the 'man' got up after being run over several times. When we realised he was a demon, I lost interest and the whole thing turned into a slasher film.

I'm sure that there are worse films that have come out, but of the ones that I've seen, I'm going to have to go with The Fast and the Furious.

Worst films of the 2000's. (Along with "Gigli")

"Crazy/Beautiful"
"Battlefield Earth"
"Cross Roads"
"A Walk To Remember"
"The Next Best Thing"
"Glitter"
"Legally Blonde" (and the sequel)
"From Justin To Kelly"
"Bones"
"Me, Myself, and Irene"

Fast and the Furious, and I also hated Jeepers Creepers, I don't understand why they are making a sequel.  The only cool part of Jeepers Creepers was that the guy got killed in the end, he totally deserved it, he was a moron!  He sees some guy puting a dead boy through a hole in the ground, so he decides to go crawl in there!  Who would actually do something that stupid???

Bend It Like Beckham... huh.  I haven't seen it, but it's been getting GREAT reviews in the States, and it looks to become the biggest British film in the US since The Full Monty.

The worst I've seen... probably Tomb Raider, which was interminably BORING, and considering how great the original concept was (Angelina Jolie in skimpy outfits), that's simply unforgivable.

Oh wait wait wait I have a better answer:  DAREDEVIL.  The story went nowhere, it simultaneously felt too long and too short, Jennifer Garner's character is built up endlessly throughout and then given maybe four minutes of payoff.  What a badly paced, uninvolving, useless and brainless waste of my time this film was.  And don't get me started on Affleck.  This movie showcases Ben Affleck's decline as an actor in full force:  He's starred in a grand total of ONE good movie (Changing Lanes) over the past five years, and keep in mind that he's only been famous for six.

Fast and the Furious may have my vote.  It was a story about the dumbest and ineffective undercover cop ever portrayed on film.  1st he suspected the wrong group of hoodlums, then helps the head of the crime syndicate he's investigating kill others and attempt to escape.

Yes it most definitely was.  It had a lame storyline, poor dialogue, lousy character development, weak cast/acting (except possibly Jeremy Irons).  Plus, actually after years of waiting for someone to come out with a D&D movie this one was pure CRAP.  It was rather depressing actually.

Speaking of depressing......the last James Bond film SUCKED.  Ive been a James Bond fan for as long as I can remember.  The last one was so outlandish (even for a 007 film) and the script was so bad it even made Halle Berry look like an amateur actor.  Im sorry to say that it might be time to retire the James Bond series for good.  The one before last wasnt that great either.

The last Bond film I saw sucked big time and I didn't even bother going to see the last one. Too many special effects and too much action which doesn't compensate for a lack of a real script. I used to eagerly anticipate the next Bond film but now I have lost interest, the last one of any quality was Goldeneye

IMO Because CGI is a better way of making effects, I get the impression that the film directors use it as a shortcut and don't realise that they have to make the film interesting as well to make it a blockbuster.

When CGI is done badly, you know about it - It looks awful.

Oh wow.  Well, I am only going to list here movies I have actually seen (or in a few cases, tried to see, they were to bad to finish).  There are a lot of bad movies I could not even see, but here are the bad ones I did see.

Punch Drunk Love (I am still trying to figure out what the Piano was for)

XXX (Just what we need, an Anarchist felon as a super spy)

Rollerball (The original was so outstanding, how could they make such a bad version?)

Austin Powers: Goldmember (This franchise is worn out.  THe first 2 were great, the last one sucked worse then the 10,000,000 phalic jokes in it)

Queen Of The Damned (This is the result of cramming 2 excellent books into a single 90 minute movie)

Adaptation (Where did the fantasy parts of the movie end asnd the reality begin?)

Reindeer Games (Great actor and director, but the plot was so worn thin it was pathetic)

Blair Witch Project (This is the result of having a film school project being blown by hype.  I will not even mention the sequal which I did not see, but everybody says is even worse.  "I'm scared - I'm so scared that this movie will never end")

Charlies Angels (When the movie begins with a movie based on TJ Hooker, you know it will be bad.  Other then hot actresses, this was not worth watching.  Then again, neither was the TV series it was based on.  Made even worse {if possible} by the appearance of Tom Green)

Me, Myself, & Irene (Come on, he did not realize his kid was black?  That got old after Steve Martin did it in THe Jerk)

Laura Croft: Tomb Raider (Was more like "Laura Croft: Boob raider".  Could that bra have been packed any tighter?)

A Mighty Wind (I absolutely LOVED "Spinal Tap", but I could not stomach this mindless piece of coprolite)

OK, those were the movie I saw, and consider a waste of my time.  There are others that I did not even bother to see because I *KNEW* they would turn my stomach.

I totally agree. I don't like movies that have lots of violence either. When I see a preview for such a movie (in the theater or on TV), I automatically say to myself, "No thank you!" or worse. I don't want to be scared to death when I see a movie; I want to have fun; that's why I go for humor.  :D

When I judge a movie good or not, I simply look at three things.  1) Did I enjoy it  2) Was it entertaining  3) Would I watch it again.

I have nothing against "artsy-fartsy" movies.  Robin Williams has done several that I loved, including one that was little watched called "Sieze The Day".  But two I listed went far beyond that.  Adaptation was not a really bad movie, but it was so confusing as to where fantasy ended and reality began.

Actually, my movie collection is very large and diverse.  Some of my classics are Gone With The Wind, Sparticus, The Great Dictator, Birth Of A Nation, Battleship Potempkin, Doctor Zhivago, and City Lights.

But I also have things like Battlefield Earth, Wayne's World 1 & 2, Life Of Brian, Meaning Of Life, Time Bandits, Xanadu, Idle Hands, and about 250 other various movies.

ALthough after last night, I have a new "Worst Movie Of The Decade", and this *IS* the worst one.

Last night I caught the first 10 minutes of the newest "Charlie's Angels".  OMG, that movie was horrible!!!!!

Now don't get be wrong, I enjoyed the first one to a degree, but this was unwatchable.  After I finished watching the opening sequence and realized they were serious, I turned it off.  It would have been one thing if that was supposed to be a dream, or a "movie version within a movie", or some other gimick.  But that was their idea of a serious movie beginning, and it was just plain lousy.

About the only good thing I can say about it is that Bill Murray had the sense to *NOT* be in this.  If I did not know better, I would say that Lucy Cameron & Drew were trying to kill the francheise.

Movies I saw, and hated:
*Rollerball
*Ghost Ship
*Laura Croft: Tomb Rider (and the sequel)
*The Fast and the Furious
*Me, Myself, and Irene
*National Security
*Die Another Day (Soundtrack was great though)
*Matrix sequels - Reloaded & Revolutions (only part remotely enjoyable in Revolutions was the part where the robots attacked Zion - that's it)
*Spider-Man

Movies I'm going to avoid at any cost:
*xXx
*Gigli
*Chalies Angels movies (I wanted to puke when I saw the trailers)
*Legally Blonde & the sequel
*Glitter
*Dumb & Dumberer
*Zoolander

So, there's the short version on my list!

I just saw one of the worst sequels ever made Alien Resurrection. Bloody and bloody awful. Sigourney Weaver didn't seem like the same Ripley at all. And Winona Ryder and Brad Dourif plays the same stereotypical characters they play in all their movies. >:(

Winona Ryder ruined it for me.  :P  I like the first two movies, but not the remaining two.

From what I understand, The Ring was supposed to be a scary movie.  To me, it wasn't scary at all.  I thought it was pretty lame.  That's just me though!  :)
