Subject: Pay Raise for Congress

Isn't that nice, with many, many people out of work, the economy in the toilet, and the big defecit spending, Congress gives themselves a pay raise once again. Last year, Congress was very generous to give me (as a retired vet) all of $20 a month (which was 1.1% COLA) Do you think they will give me the same 2.2 they are going to recieve? I sincerely doubt it.

What a deal, our company has had it tough since 2001, just like the federal gvmt. operating at a loss. Everyone over $40,000 took a pay cut, it's been two years and we haven't got it back yet.
