Subject: Landmark Forum - Is It a Cult?

Written By: jaytee on 09/17/03 at 07:06 a.m.

My nephew who is 35 has signed up to attend a Landmark Forum.  His wife isn't too pleased as she has heard some negative comments about it.  I googled it and, of course, there are differing opinions.  Have any of you guys had any first hand experience with Landmark or know anybody who has attended one of their forums?

I never heard of it. I'm sorry, but I felt like you deserved some kind of response. I would attend the meeting with him to find out yourself. I really know nothing about cults, so you might want to find another opinion.

The Landmark Forum is kind of like a self improvement seminar, like one of Tony Robbins' seminars. I guess maybe you could compare it to scientology, also. A lot of people think that's a cult.
