Subject: Dido

Is it just me, or is Dido one fine songstress?

It seems to me that she is VERY underrated.  I just bought her new album and it is awesome.  The songs are very simple, with an easy melody.  None of that overdone production that you see with new acts these days.

I say she's gonna go places.

Yeah Dido is cool.  Shes got some of the best chillout type music out there.

I love that new video for "White Flag" with David Boreanez and her.

Personally, I don't find her that inspiring... just hoping for the inevitable freudian slip which adds the extra "l" in the middle of her name ;-)

Dido does look great on her latest album cover. I wouldn't care if she was the worst singer ever, she has a face and body men would kill for.  :-*

She does nothing for me at all, I find her music completely inoffensive but uninspiring.

I've heard she's a real popstar sensation in Europe, but I doubt it's true.  She's not interesting enough.  Madonna, Eminem, Britney, I can see why they would inspire a bunch of screaming fans, but all Dido does is sing her songs and smile and look pleasant.  How can you get excited about that?

Actually she sells far more records in the USA.  She did not hit it big in Europe until after she got notice in USA.

You are right about the Britney/Madonna/Eminem thing.  Maybe if Dido started strutting around naked, pulling guns on people, doing a fake accent, and dissing her mother on her records, and got fake boobs installed she could sell more records.  ::)

Hmmm... now that I think about it, just singing the songs and looking pleasant sounds more appealing after all.  :D

Her new song is all right.  Not a big fan really.  I'm really sick of "Thank You" though.

Thank you was really the only song by her that I really cared about...what was the name of that first one, Here with me?..whatever it was, that was an alright song, but nothing special......
