Yeah, I don't think Pittsburgh got the funds for a new hockey arena, unfortunately...which means their existence might still be in jeopardy despite Lemieux's support.

Well it was sure nice to go to Detroit on Saturday and Clip the Dead Wings :D...I just wish we'd beaten the Canucks last night :-/ Colorado still has the lead though :)

I read this on CBS Sportline, and I hope that justice is done in this situation. No team should have to deal with the thug mentality of an opponent. :(

If that's the case then the raiders should've lost NFL membership YEARS ago...can you say "Daryll Stingley?" >:( Anyway, the Avs Steve Moore is on the mend...still don't know whether he'll ever play again though. Tha Avs won last night but so did Vancouver, so it's still a division up for grabs ::)

The Habs are running a wicked losing streak. Hopefully they can beat the Sabres tonight, I would hate to see them go into the playoffs on a 6 game losing streak.
I'm surprised to see that picking up Kovalev and the return of Souray hasn't really lit a fire under their butts.

Sorry man...I'm still hoping Edmonton can make the playoffs, I want to maximize the chances of an all-Canada final to help revitalize Canadian NHL hockey :)

Hopefully Vancouver will not show up for tonights game against the Oil. Of course Nashville would still have to lose their last game as well.
It's a shame that teams like the Canadiens need to go to the conference finals just to break even financially this year. Hard to believe considering that they sell out ever game during the regular season. Damn our feeble canadian dollar.

They gave it a great shot but unfortunately, it looks like Edmonton's gonna be a bit short this year...but good luck to the Predators on their first trip to the postseason :)
Then again, there are 6 minutes left in the game and Edmonton's only down 2 goals :D Plenty of time (at least in video games, hehehe).
The big bummer is that if Vancouver wins the division (which looks likely) they'd have to play Calgary in the first round of the playoffs, most likely, which means one of the Canadian reps in the West will be eliminated early :-/

Avs lost the division to the Canucks....oh well....they'd better play MUCH better in the playoffs if they expect to get out of the first round ::)
