Subject: Friends Seasons Boxed Sets

Written By: hannahbear on 11/10/03 at 12:03 a.m.

I was wondering what the special features included in the Friends boxed sets are like.  Are they plentiful and worth the money?  I asked for Season 5 for Christmas, and would possibly buy Seasons 6, 7 (when they come out), and maybe 4, if I can save the money for them.  :)  Any input about the special features would be great.  Thanks!

Why spend my money on a "Friends" box set when the entire 10 years will be syndicated for a long time? You'd probably get better sound quality and extra features, but I couldn't stand Conan O'Brien's wooden presentation of hosting that outtakes special. And Lisa Kudrow's starting to look hot again. ;)

I have boxed sets for seasons 1 thru to 6.  Not sure if I have an Aussie only package or whether they came from US originally.

But each season has 3 dvds with 4 eps on each side.  Nicely packaged.

But the only extra's I have is the Rembrants video clip on every single one.  And on the Ross Wedding in London one there are two very short "in london" specials.

But like I said your boxed sets may be totally different to ours.

They are also thinking of having some special boxed sets that are not organized by season.

The first one will be entitled "The Ones Where Rachel Actually Wore a Bra".  Apparently it will be released on the DVD "mini-disk" format that only holds 30 minutes of video.

Heh heh... ;D
