Subject: Whos career you expected to last longer?

I saw Boyz 2 Men singing the National Anthem on Thanksgiving and thought "Where did they dig these guys up from?"I was convinced that they were going to be around for a long time but now they are has beens.Who did you think would "last forever" but just faded away?

I would say Paula Coles.  She was a pretty good songwriter and musician, and looked good.  Granted her voice did not have much "range" but her first album did very well.  :)

But her career quickly fizzled  :-/ when she showed up on the award shows and in photo shoots without shaving her armpits!  I swear at the Grammys she could have had it braided! :P  At one point she even wrote a disgruntled and somewhat militant letter to a magazine (I think it was People Mag) that had the nerve to airbrush the hair from a publicity photo.

Just goes to show... good grooming IS important!  :D
