scary, scary stuff... sounds like he has more common sense than the people in Hollywood

Justin Timberlake is going around telling people he was asked to play the lead in the next Superman movie, but declined:

"I told them, 'Whatever you're smoking, dude, I don't want any of it. It's just not me.' "

After a few months of hard resistance, I am starting to like Justin Timberlake, and his common sense here only helps that.

Quoting:
Justin Justin Justin................ ::)
End Quote

Don't you mean:

Timberlake, Timberlake
What kind of film is he going to make?
Timberlake, Superman
Luckily, he doesn't think he can

I did like his quote:

Quoting:"I told them, 'Whatever you're smoking, dude, I don't want any of it. It's just not me.' "End Quote

:)Well, there certainly is a diverse group of people to play Superman, including someone who's part Japanese,so perhaps it's not too surprising he was asked.Cheers!

Good decision by Tiberlake. With the exception of "X-Men" and "X2", there hasn't been any good comic book/super hero movies. Simply put, they all sucked (Spider-Man was definetely the worst of the bunch). Oh yeah, almonst forgot, the first "Batman" movie was also very good and "Batman Returns" wasn't bad either. I just wonder, when is this comic book movie graze going to end. The first Superman movie was not that bad, but definitely not one of my favourites. With any luck, the 2006 Superman wont be as horrible as the peaces of crap that have been made so far. WARNING!! DANGER!! Spider-Man II coming in 2004! PROCEED WITH EXTREME CAUTION!!

IMO Justin seems to be a little on the scrawny side to me to play superman.

I don't understand why they don't just cast Christopher Reeves in the new movie.   ???

I mean, they could use special effects.  In the original movies they used special effects to make him look like he was flying.  So why not do it with fx?  :-/

And I just read where he can breathe without a respirator for a couple hours now.  That would make the filming easier, I'd think.

The ratings for the movie would be huge.  People have been waiting for 8 years for Chris to have a real starring role.

His song is ok, but ticks me off the way he says, "wanna see you 'neck-id' by da end of dis song."  Would like to spank him for talking like dat.

Hey that's the level of music these days.  Instead of the classic R&B and Soul tunes like "Let's Stay together" or "You've lost that lovin feelin", we now have radio waves filled with people rapping about "hittin' it" or "I'm gonna stick my key in your ignition".  :-/

Sad...  :'(
