I'm with you on half...Eagles...but I think the Patriots are on a roll as well....as for the winner I think it'd be the Pats. THAT being my prediction..this being my wish:
Eagles/Broncos with Denver winning :)

I'm still hoping for the Colts to make it to the Super Bowl, but I'll have to say Rams and Pats. I don't think the Rams' heads were in that Lions game, and Martz will steer the ship rightly and beat the Eagles at not-so-intimidating Lincoln Field.

Well..I think the Ravens blew that game againat Tennesee with those 2 personal foul penalties against Orlando Brown. One of those penalties killed a potential touchdown scoring drive for the Ravens. The Ravens had to settle for a field goal. Another factor was the Titans defense stopping Raven's RB Jamal Lewis cold. LB Ray Lewis played a great game for the Ravens. RB Eddie George played a great game for the Titans.

I'll be watching the Denver-Indy game tommorow.

Next Week Tennesee goes to New England and Carolina goes to St Louis.. I think.

If the Colts win, Tennessee plays New England. If the Colts lose, Denver plays the Patriots and the Titans play in KC.

I'm rooting for Seattle against the Pack tomorrow. Don't think they have a chance against Favre, but who knows?

And I almost forgot Go Colts!!

I'm guessing the Denver players are wishing there was a major blizzard in Denver that would have kept them from making the trip to Indianapolis right about now.

That was just plain uuuugly. :P

ANd what a boneheaded play by Matt Hasselbeck, QB of Seattle, for throwing that interception in overtime. While on the PA system in Green Bay, he boldly predicted his team would score after the Seahawks won the coin toss. And those are the kind of words you don't say at Lambeau Field when you're the visitors. ::)

Final score:
Titans 14,  Patriots 17

That means if the Colts do beat KC this afternoon, we have to go to Foxboro to exorcise the Bill Belichek demons once and for all. I still want the Colts to win, just to get a chance to finally whip those Patsies once and for all.

You aren't nearly brave enough to post this at the "other" board. And to talk about officials, I believe it's the Broncos who always get the "bad" calls. The Colts played better than KC and they deserved the win. Unlike someone, I can accept defeat and move on!!

If you have anything else to say to me, be an adult and send it in a pm and keep it off of the board!!

Better check it out....BTW, when KC beat Denver the 1st time I gave credit...that Hall kick return was the difference...meanwhile, when Denver beat KC you didn't bother giving the Broncos credit...instead you chose to relish in the news the Cheifs Killer Clinton Portis who scored 5 TDs in the Denver win, may be injured and sent that stupid cry face....Gonzalez is a great tight end but he should act more like the all-time best tight end Shannon Sharpe and show some class. Best of luck to ALL the teams that remain ;) Buh-bye!

I didn't owe anyone credit. Any credit you gave KC was underhanded. I'm sure that no one on the Broncos has ever shown disappointment, huh? Shannon Sharpe? Are you talking about the trash talkin' Shannon Sharpe?

Sudden death OTs kinda suck in football...I wish they'd adopt the college scheme, I'd like to see what Brett and co would have done to counter the winning FG :)

Dante Hall had a great return...you don't OWE me anything...I acknowledged the chiefs win in the first game as being earned while when Denver beat KC at Mile High you chose to call me a crybaby over Portis possibly being hurt....I would never wish injury on anyone...even a chief. Enjoy the off-season and maybe I should've used a better example than Sharpe...John Elway...the great QB who led the Broncos to back-to-back Super Bowl wins. I don't recall any Bronco whining about a legit call though....but either way I'm moving forward so...Go Panthers and Colts...or Eagles and Patriots....I like them ALL :)

Congratulations to the Chiefs on a great season this year. But our real nemesis is yet to come. It seems like Coach Belichek always gets the calls against Indianapolis. Albeit, the Patsies are tough this year. But we hardly ever defeated them while they sucked. I hope this is the year Coach Belicose and his team gets kicked in the proverbial a** come Sunday. Go Colts again.

P.S.: I'm picking the Eagles to win the NFC even though the Panthers also deserve to go and the Colts would like to avenge their OT loss at home.

i was reading up |(nothing i usually do) on the upcoming NFC championship game and all i have to say is: Eagles need to be careful. no this isn't a Carolina is going to beatt hem up badly threat but a "watch the Ego cause it'll beat you and you'll lose" threat. qwhat i've read is:

-"Don't need destiny because we've got #5"
-"FredEx cause he delivers"
-Talk from sports writers as if they aregoing to/just won the Superbowl
-Given 1 extra day off where as the Panthers will be working hard.

this isn't a silly regular game and if the Eagles keep this up, they're going to lose. :-/

An Eagles fan in my journalism class brought in an article from the Philly Enquirer by a Sports Writer, basically bashing Charlotte and the Panthers.

Not only was the writer sadly misinformed, but a friend of mine (also in the class) is writing a rebuttal to him pointing out his endless grammatical errors.

...doesn't sound very funny, heh, but 'tis very amusing. Especially if we get a response back...

It was depressing watching Peyton Manning struggle in that AFC game. I was cheered up somewhat by the Panthers' win though. It looks like the Eagles have blown their last chance at the Big Game, since their expected to lose several players to free agency. It'll take a lot of bucks to keep Peyton too, unless he gets tagged a "franchise" player. It was a good season for the Colts anyway. And good luck to the Patriots and Panthers, Feb 1.

I remember the 1995 near-miracle finish too. And I believe Harbaugh and his teammates had more heart than the Colts' defense. But it's hard to win with 4 INTs and a fumble, especially against a well-coached New England team. I just hope Jim Irsay and Bill Polian can spend some money on free agents, especially run stoppers and pass coverage this time, even at the cost of some young projects who might be more successful somewhere else.

Not to mention the two straight holding penalties by Roman Phifer holding up the receiver on 3rd and 4th downs.  Not that the Colts would of scored but it would of at least kept the drive alive.  I believe in the refs letting the players play in the playoffs but two plays in a row is ridiculous and blatant.
