Subject: What movie(s) are you looking forward to most?

Written By: Andrew-1972 on 01/02/04 at 08:39 a.m.

For me that's easy,

I'm looking forward to.

Shrek 2
Scooby Doo 2
Garfield
Spiderman 2

Porky's 4
This one will take some creativity, since the characters who played Porky, Mrs. Balbricker, and the Principal have all gone to that big stage in the sky.  But those wacky alums from Angel Beach High can still have some hijinx.

Revenge of the Nerds 5
It's been awhile since the last installment.  Now that Anthony Edwards is free of his obligations to the series "E.R,", he can now start work on the latest "nerds" installment.  Other actors such as Curtis "booger" Armstrong, Robert "lewis" Carradine, and Donald "ogre" Gibb could use the work too.

;D

Mona Lisa Smile
Cheaper By The Dozen
How To Deal
What a Girl Wants

I dont recommend that one.....its pretty bad.....Ashton Kuther's the funniest part of the movie (isnt that a sad statement?)  Steve Martin sometims hits with funny jokes, but most of the time, the jokes go nowhere, or are not the least bit funny.  Its a "Family" movie, that I would only show to my family if I wanted to torture them.......

it has its high points, but is overrall crap.......

Yikes, chick flicks..sorry couldn't help it.
There are few movies that I want to see lately or comming soon..except Spongbob Squarepants and OnePointo (1.0).
I'm hoping they make Spongbobs movie a little more adult-themed but not lose the kids that will want to see it..
OnePonto is strange, hard to describe...its about a guy who gets mysterous packges..lets just say if you have a computer (and I know you do) its going to freak you out. It'll make you think twice about spam and those unending AOL discs you get every month and those "got milk" ads.

I'm looking forward to a lot of the movies already mentioned, like SpongeBob SquarePants and Meet the Fockers. (LOVED Meet the Parents, so this one's def. on my must-see list)

However, I noticed that nobody's mentioned this movie yet:

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (June 4th!)  :D

I've already seen the trailer for it and it looks like it's going to be a really great movie. Much darker than the first two films. I enjoyed the book so I don't think I will be disappointed come June 4th.  :)

I'm looking forward to:

I, Robot

As far as these two -

Shrek 2
Scooby Doo 2

Why, oh why do they insist on recapitalizing on a previous film concept? I'm no longer excited about sequels, with the exception of movies like "Harry Potter" and The "Lord of the Rings" trilogy from which sequels are readily expected.

Oh, and some originality in film-making would be refreshing, as opposed to the continued rehashing and trashing of old favorites. :P

I'm done ranting now. ;D

How do they expect to improve on the classic?  ???

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban!!!!!!!  What do you mean it looks like it's going to be a great movie?? It's Harry Potter!  Of course it's going to be TOTALLY AWESOME!  ;D

I have wondered how they can possibly improve on the classic Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Rice Cube..they just can't improve it.  I think the classic is perfect, they shouldn't even try to improve it; they will fail.  I think remaking it is a HORRIBLE thing to do!  >:(

Booooooo. >:(

I'll agree with the other sentimants on here:  "Willy Wonka and the Chocalte Factory" is a classic.

There should be some kind of law:  "Thou shalt not **** with the classics, becasue they always turn out like crap".

Hey, I didn't say I expect the new one to be better. But, as with cover songs, I'm always interested to see how they turn out.

Oh, and for Rice Cube:

- Bourne Supremacy: July 23, 2004
- Rush Hour 3: Undetermined - possibly August 2005?
- Meet The Fockers: December 22, 2004

I'm really looking forward to the new Catwoman movie with Halle Berry as Catwoman.  Also, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.  LOVE the Harry Potter world.  Shrek 2 looks good, too.  Also, I just saw a preview for Hidalgo with Viggo Mortensen that looks interesting.  I hate to admit it, but I'm looking forward to Lion King 1 1/2.

Well I went and saw it and I give it a 10.  I loved it.  I really think Bill Murray deserves an Oscar for his performance.  He was great.   I also saw a trailer for "Big Fish" which looks interesting.

Who should play Irma?
From the comic strip?
