This IS REALITY TELEVISION that I love to watch! The judge is much more entertaining than Judge Wapner...and prettier too ;)She really probes the litigants and you cant get anything past her. This is a rare time where I like the "new" as compared to the "old"

With Judge Wapner if there was a witness who only spoke Spanish he would have to go with the word of the person doing the translating and thats hard to determine if the person is lying or not.But with Judge Marilyn she speaks Spanish and I remeber one time the litigant was shocked that she spoke Spanish.LOL!

When will this reality TV fad come to an end?

Judge Marilyn rocks.  8)

I like the way that she regains her barrio voice when she gets excited.

However... will SOMEBODY please let her know that her hair colour is hideous.  It CANT be her natural colour.

You wouldn't be talking about the time the defendant told the plaintiff she was going to "Break her face", would you? ;D

Gotta agree with LyricBoy, that hair color is horrible, and she needs some new earrings, those hoops went out of style about 10 years ago ;)

Hubby thinks I'm crazy, but I'm addicted to all of the court shows, Judge Judy, People's Court, Judge Mathis, Judge Joe Brown, Divorce Court (although that one is pretty lame sometimes), Judge Hatchett, Texas Justice.  The one I miss, though, is Mills Lane.  :'( He cracked me up.  And, thanks to the wonders of digital cable, I can watch them from 9 am-5 pm ;D

I have an idea (that I have had for a while now) for a new "Judge" show.  I call it The Supreme Court.

As you know, the judgements granted on the TV show courts are NOT subject to appeal.  In my show idea, somebody gets to appeal their judgement to The Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court consists of a panel of judges:

-Judy Scheindlin
-Joe Brown
-Marilyn Milian
-Mathis
-Larry the Texas Judge
-Mablean Efraim

(note that Judge Hatchett is excluded.  Her show is not a court and rather is a tarted-up touchie feely show).

However, whatever judge's decision is being appealed must abstain from the appeal, and instead serves as the host for that episode.

I think this idea is a winner.  :D

Also... why not a "judge show" that tries felony cases?  That would rock.  8)

I am addicted to these shows, too.  Judge Judy and Peoples Court are my faves.  In fact, I am watching Marilyn right now. ;)

Wapner retired, Andrew.

I gotta give you points for this concept.  Hey, pitch it to the networks and see if anyone bites ;D  But, for pure enjoyment, you gotta have Judge Judy's (Judge Jerry--formerly of The People's Court, too) hubby on there, too.  Have you ever seen an interview with those two?  It's no wonder they've been divorced before.LOL!

I like Judge Mathis. He's funny. Judge Wapner was cool. Now he's doing animal court I think. Judge Judy  and the others I didn't like.

I remeber one time this guy told Judge Mathis these are very precious animals(forget what the anima wasl)and Judge Mathis goes than why do you kill them then?

Judge Mills Lane was good. One guy made fun of Mills Lane about the whole Mike Tyson biting ear thing one time.

Judge Mathis is funny but I think some of those people are actors. They just carry on and talk. But Peoples Court Judge Marilyn doesnt put up with any crap from the litigants.

I'll admit one time she overdid it.The plaintiff called her "ma'am" which I though was respectful. She gets an attitude and says Im a judge you should say "your honor" I was like gimme a break he was just trying to be respectful. ::)

I cracked up at the Judge Mathis where the plaintiff kept saying his name (instead of "your honor") and he finally told her to stop, he knew his name ;D

I went to school with Marilyn and she had blonde hair at the time. I started school in the 4th grade with her so I know that she was a natural blonde but after having babies your hair color changes. I know because mine also changed. brown is her natural color
