I wrote an article on this guy for my school newspaper (and used the second photo in that article as well). I can understand why people both do and don't like him. It's all matters about how you look at it.

Good for him! He does have "super like-ability" from what I've observed. His album will sell well, I'm sure. Wouldn't it be so funny if it sold platinum? ? ? :o ;D In America, anything's possible. If this isn't proof, I don't know what is! :D

Who's this Will Hung? Is he Will Hung, or does anyone else have a sneaking suspicion he has chosen this stage name to suggest that? If he gets to #1 in the charts, will everyone be getting down to the Good Will Hung Ting?? ;D

Honestly now, who will actually want to buy this album?  And why?

I don't mean to be the pessamist of the group, but cummon...when I buy a CD I like to crank it up and enjoy the music.  I'm sorry, but I don't think I would ever be caught dead cruising down the highway jamming to William Hung's Greatest Hits. ::)



I guess I have mixed feelings about it.  

One one hand, it seems like he is being used as a novelty act, mainly to be made fun of.  I got to admit, when I see him singing, I laugh.  And I'm sure I'm not the only one.  

But on the other hand, he did sign the contract.  So I guess if he feels comfortable being laughed at and being the butt of jokes, thats his choice.
