Mine is being with my son and Mountain Biking. We do that together sometimes but he hates going with me because I go forever. I love being in the woods.

Running...even though it's kinda difficult emotionally since Blaine died...we used to run together a lot. I can still feel him with me :)

Playing my weekly Saturday basketball with my friends for 3-4 hours at the middle school where my boys all attended. Although it's gotten harder over the last year or so, as I'm getting older. Some weeks I play like I'm old and other times I play like I'm in my 20's again....problem is that when I get home my body tells me I'm old :-\\

No Bobby - I'm a lover not a fighter!  I have a sparring partner and do like taking my frustrations out on the punchbag.  ;)  And yes, sometimes it can swing back and hit you when you're not expecting it.  :-[

I have several "favorite things to do".  Being with my wife tops the list, my grand daughter and kids come next, reading a good book and sailing my boat is also high on the list.  Communicating with all you good people is also there.  Reaching a student, that is, inspiring a student to do his/her best work, to "go the extra mile" is a turn on.  Hard question to answer, as I suspect, on reflection, most people would find it.

When I get the chance, I like to go back to the coast where I was brought up. Tide & weather being right, my ideal day is to go out early morning, catch enough fish for lunch; have a barbeque at lunch time for a few hours, then laze on the beach all afternoon, until it's time to go home for supper. Sometimes I catch too many fish & go back & swap the excess with local villagers for produce from their gardens, which adds some sort of real satisfaction value to the excercise.
I also love going to Spain to see my daughter. Not only do I get the obvious pleasure from spending time with her, it's just great to get away from the UK- the culture, weather, prices & quality of food are so different (in a positive way!) that it makes me want to move there too... :)

i like to sit on my hand until it gets numb and  ::), i call it a stranger...

other than that i watch NASCAR, listen to Purple Rain and keep it real on the dirrty side ya dig

It's less of my favorite and more of my time wasters that include posting of webforums,Gaming, listening to music.

add to my faves list reading Mad Magazine and any sports magazine that has my NASCAR drivers in it...
