Subject: New Nickels, any opinions?

Just saw the new Louisiana Purchase nickels, wondering if anyone else has seen them and is less than enthused. It's bad enough that it's a year late for the 200th anniversary, but unless they're trying to symbolize something other than the purchase agreement, they actually managed to get the participants wrong. :-[

I agree.
Leave the money alone. Its ironic that it costs money to change the money we already had and used in the first place.

I had no clue they were even changing until the tooth fairy brought one for my daughter. I don't like them.

They're now minted a new Buffalo Nickel. It's not the same as the oldie. Unfortunately they're going to return the Monticello reverse. That took creativity >:(
