Subject: Ever changed the colour scheme on your computer?

Written By: Stompgal on 07/02/04 at 1:31 am

I have. My desktop has my flower wallpaper and an olive green Windows XP style start botton and menu.  If you've got the Usborne computer guide entitled 101 Things To Do With Your Computer, see page 23 and you'll find out how to do it in project 36. Go on, give it a try!

I've done it, but it wasn't on my computer. Rather, it was one in the math lab at school. I experimented with all the color schemes...and picked one that I liked the best.

Only to change XP's hideous blue scheme to the traditional Windows 98 look.  8)

I used to change it once in a while but now I kind of like a blue sea scheme. :)

Careful. Changing the colors can change your mood.  Especially if you are moody.

On Windows XP you can change your color scheme for the desktop and taskbars...my menu bar and taskbar are both silver...and my desktop background is a picture of.....TONY STEWART!

My screensaver is Eyetide, with NASCAR,OU Sooners football,Philly EAGLES(NFL)and various NBA highlights...no NBA vs fan fights either.

I change mine a lot, but from what I've seen, if you want an XP style taskbar it must stay blue.  To change colors I have to change to Windows Classic.
