I think she means songs that aren't party songs but songs that you can relax to...

Also, Bawitdaba and The way I am were both 99, and I'm sure Dear Mama was much earlier in the 90's.

That one's called "Jumper" and it's from the 90s. It was a big hit in 1998.

You've been hit, bj. ;)

Seems the "..." guest has struck again. Whenever someone lists a song with the wrong date, Mr./Ms. "..." shows up to point out the error.

Why do they use the guest login? Why don't they just setup a user ID like "SongCorrectYear" or "Billboard100God"?

???

I could have pointed out that the actual song title was called "Jumper."  But I didn't, because really, who cares?  Do all the little mistakes we make need to be corrected?  I didn't bother with it, because I knew "Ellipsis" would show up right away. :P ::)

That is a good song, too, bj26. :)  I like Third Eye Blind.

Sorry, guys. To zcrito: I am male and single, so it's Mr. Ellipsis to you. And I like posting as a guest. I'll register for an account when I'm good and ready. Leb: I like TEB as well; yes, that song is called "Jumper"; what's amazing is that the word "jumper" isn't mentioned anywhere in the song. It is one of my favourite songs of theirs, regardless of when it came out.

You can correct them good enough. Let's see if you can list 'em just as well.  ;)

Or you can go over to the "The 1990's" board and open a new subject called "What are your favourite chill-out songs of the 1990s?". ::)

Hold on to that boatload. Let's give the '90s some help.

I did make a slight boo-boo in my post above. I said "Can't Get This Song Out Of My Head"; I know it should be "Can't Get You Out Of My Head." I just like to call it what I did because I'm sure some people can't get it out of their heads.

Yeah, I know. We all make mistakes at times; nobody's perfect, not even Eric Gagne. I intentionally typed This Song instead of You because it was intended to be a joke; on the other hand, I figured someone might correct me if I hadn't responded to my own post. Of course I know what the song's really called; other people probably feel the way I do about it too...especially two years ago, when it was a big hit.

I'm more of a hardcore music girl these days , but as far as chill-out songs go, I like the one that goes "I need scerenity, in a place where I can go." Its got a realy Middle Eastern or east Indian sound to it. I don't know who does it, though.

I'm sorry, I'm just getting used to music from the 1990s and I'm now starting to like it.
I hate pretty much everything that has been churned out in the 2000s except for Outkast's Speakerboxxx/The Love Below album.
Everything sounds pre-disposed and manufactured... even the alterna pop punk stuff.
