Don't be sad.  Can you just imagine what food heaven is like?

Julia was the "grande dame" of cooking shows. Her voice got on my nerves sometimes, but she was always detailed to perfection. She will be missed. :\'(

I liked the way Dan Akroyd used to pay homage to her on the old SNL skits :)  :\'(

:\'(  She was a really nice lady - I met her a few years ago when I used to live in Santa Barbara.

Julia Child's passing is getting a lot of coverage around here because she was a Smith College alumna.

Really? So were my great-aunts. My grandmother and aunt are still.

Julia... rest in peace.  She'll be missed.  What an original and a real character.  (so un-Martha Stewart like)

You know you've made it when SNL does a skit about "you"    But Dan's was a classic.

Oh, how awful to die 2 days before your next birthday! I thought she was going to live forever. I know everybody dies, but there was just something about her, you know?

RIP Julia.  :\'(
