Subject: Velvet Revolver

I bought the new CD from Velvet Revolver last week, and it's some of the most kicka$$ rock and roll I've heard in quite some time. Anyone else here like this band?

Slash, Duff and Matt make for a great GNR, but a terrible STP. Scott Weiland is not a good fit for them. And the one guy who could've made it work, Izzy, isn't there, and that's a shame because now there's no one to write good songs for them.

What I've heard of it I like, but right now I'm fully into Brides of Destruction's album. :)

When I first heard the song "Slither", I thought I was hearing a song by The Cult or STP. I never thought it was Scott Weiland on the voice though. :-[
