Subject: Greatest Recievers and WHY

Written By: RockandRollFan on 09/29/04 at 12:14 pm

1. Jerry Rice-4 Rings...though he whined after his consecutive game/catch streak ended a few weeks ago

2. Lyn Swan-4 Rings....graceful

3. Shannon Sharpe-3 rings...I forgive him for being a one-time teamate of Ray Lewis :P Durability and stregnth although his mouth got on my nerves at times.

4. Marvin Harrison....just because I like him.

5. Kellen Winslow....Guts and CLASS, which his son apparently didn't get ::)

I agreed with you on Rice, Sharpe and Harrison. I also picked:

Art Monk-3 rings: And he made those catches with at least three QBs.
Steve Largent: Perhaps the toughest non-tight end receiver ever. He hadthe most receving yards in a career at one time, if I'm not mistaken.

I'm surprised Harold Carmichael wasn't on the list, Rock.

Carmichael should've been...but I stretched my brain for these polls enough :D
