Sad news, Indy :\'( I just talked to a guy at the local Rock Station and he reminded me that Ken had played for the Sky Sox..the current triple-A affiliate for The Rockies...but back then, in th 80's, they belonged to Cleveland

Poor thing. :\'( I had no idea. By the way, didn't he begin his career with the Houston Astros or something like that?

What a shame! Though, I don't recall him just yet, RIP!

He'll most likely be overshadowed by Christopher's death, though. Just like Mother Theresa's death did at the same time of Princess Di's death.

Sad news day all around.  R.I.P. Ken.

The most amazing sports play I have ever seen was Ken Caminiti, playing for my beloved Padres, diving for a wickedly fast line grounder, snagging the ball while landing in the dirt, and then, lying on his side on the ground on the third base line, chucking it sidearm and STILL managing to throw out the guy at first.

I know now he was probably on steroids when he pulled that off.

This is sad all around.

41 is way too young and he left behind 3 young girls.  It's so sad... he'll be missed.  Those steroids are just bad all the way around. Have to wonder if they were really worth it?
