It's official, Chris Rock will host the Oscars in 2005.
Though he refused to host last year. He had hosted the MTV Movie Awards & Video Music Awards.

Good. He is one of the funniest men alive.
What would REALLY knock my socks off is if they let George Carland host.
Chris Rock is suprising though...they usually go for 'mild' comics.

It should quite funny. At least I'll keep my eyes open from wanting to see it this year. It'll be interesting to see how it plays out with all the old, stuffy people and executives in the audience. He'll light some one's fire. But, I'll bet they will have a million censors working on that night! :(
