Recently deceased Ol' Dirty B@stard went by the aliases Big Baby Jesus and Dirt McGirt.
Tupac went by the alias Macchiavelli (Duh. Who doesn't know that).
Left Eye called herself N.I.N.A. for a solo album.
Mariah Carey is sometimes credited in other people's albums as Honey B. Fly (Usually in producing or BG vocals).
Snoop Doggy Dog goes by the aliases Snoop Dogg and The Doggfather.
Eminem's alias is Slim Shady (Another duh).

Prince has had several pseudonyms or nicknames: most notably The Artist, The Purple 1, His Royal Purpleness, King of Cool, Alexander Nevermind, etc.

John Cougar Mellencamp was Little B@stard, not to be confused with the late Ol' Dirty B@stard.

Oh yes, I was actually glad when Garth went back to being Garth.
Obviously nobody bought the album or the concept and the movie about Gains was scrapped.

I saw an explanation of why Prince went for that symbol.  Apparently it was an attempt to get out of a recording contract.  He figured that if he changed his name the contract for "Prince" would no longer be valid.  He wanted to release more albums than his record company did.

It didn't work though which is why he changed back.

as a fan of the NFL's Philadelphia EAGLES I have to add to this thread

T.O.-Terrell Owens

Why are some people angry with TO for wanting to be a part of my fave NFL team? We needed someone with the abilities TO has....he works EXTREMELY well with QB Donovan McNabb, something very few recievers have been able to really accomplish. Hey...ten wins only one loss...I'm not gonna gripe about that!
