Subject: Good Morning

Written By: bj26 on 11/22/04 at 9:09 am

I'm just sitting down at my desk (after over-browning a bagel in the office's toaster oven, and now people are sniffing the air asking each other, "Do you smell something burning?) ::)

Okay, I'll start over, it's 8:10am - just want to say a wonderful buenos dias to everyone and hope we all have a great week :)

Good Morning, bj26! It's finally crept over 40 degrees here in Colorado Springs so I'm off to my bike ride to the cemetary to visit my son Blaine and then come back for lunch :)

Oven browning a bagel?
When there was a good bagel place near where I work I used to get my ice-tea (+lemon) and bagel breakfast** two or three times a week.

You need to find a place that has fresh bagels, the kind that don't need browning.

;)

** just early morning comfort food for me.  :)

Most of our bagels here in the Bluegrass are imported from Cincinnati or are in the refrigerator section.  Anyway, I'll be in NYC over Christmas and you will likely find me at the Carnegie Deli consuming piles of pastrami and every other cuisine available in NYC!
