Subject: Another Death In The Family

My only surviving uncle, who had a history of heart problems, passed away this morning. Which will probably mean I'll have to travel to Georgia with my dad, who's had his own health problems, in several inches of snow and ice. He was the one who's yongest son died of cancer earlier. He was survived by two sons and a daughter. It maybe the first of many funerals in Georgia. :\'(

My deepest sympathies Indy.
So sad for people to be losing those close to them at this time of year whe everyone is busy celebrating. In the past 4 days I have had one friend lose her dad and another friend lose her granddad.

Prayers to you and your family...
I realized my relatives are all up in years as well and altho we got thru many happy times, they may all start to fall at the same time-being the same ages.
Have to prepare for that myself!

Thanks again for all the good wishes and sympathy. The funeral will be Monday, so we will probably be leaving for Georgia either Saturday night of Sunday morning. My dad wanted to leave tomorrow, but he was concerned that he wouldn't find any gas stations open Friday or Saturday.
