Joe Pesci is one of my all-time favorite actors. He can go from playing a bumbling idiot burglar (in Home Alone) to a whiny yet likable goofball (in the Lethal Weapon movies) to a psychopathic, cold-blooded and genuinely scary mobster (in GoodFellas and Casino). His range is simply amazing. Yet he hasn't made a movie in almost 7 years. Has he retired from acting completely or is he just on an extended sabbatical?
