Subject: Cult TV Shows of the early 2000s

Written By: FullHouseFan! on 01/27/05 at 12:20 am

Can anyone think of TV shows from the first half of this decade (which just ended) that were cancelled shortly after introduction or stayed on but have small, dedicated fan bases?  I can think of:

Arrested Development
Cracked Up
Andy Richter Controls the Universe
Greg the Bunny
Futurama (ok that was big and partly 90s but it was short)

"Do Over"... though I'm probably the few who liked it...

I also liked "Greg the Bunny".  :-X  :D

Other canned shows that are still popular:

"Invader Zim", "Freaks & Geeks", and "Ed"

The Simpsons still rule.

The Family Guy
Adult Swim on Cartoon Network

I don't know if it qualifies as "cult" but MONK is a grreat show with a pretty loyal following.

Wasn't "Freaks and Geeks" 1999?  Oh well, it's pretty much early 2000s anyway.  "Adult Swim" is quite cult in my book, but it's sorta what I was looking for.  Oh yeah "That 80's Show" too.  But I still think the greatest is "Andy Richter"  8)
