Subject: To your mind: is South Park a 90s or 2000s show?

I say 1999, although out of the two decades it's more 2000s overall.

2000's, they started to be more towards current events compared to past seasons

True that "South Park" premiered in 1997, but the earlier seasons weren't loaded with "current events" like now.

Like most of the early episodes were about mutant turkies, a dog coming out of the closet, finding out who's Cartman's "father", Mr. Hankey, Mecha Streisand, etc. And a few political & episodes based on events like the last season was about Paris Hilton, Michael Jackson, etc.

90s. It premiered in the 90s, and was pretty unique at the time.

90s, since they had more impact in the first two seasons.  They're not as noticable now that they've been out for so long, even if they ran for another 5 years, I'd think of them as a 90s phenomen, since the impact of the shows is so muted now.

Yeah I guess it's more a late 90s show.  It was just seen as so outrageous when it first came out, and while still big now, it's not a phoenomenon now.

i think 90s, because thats when it came out, the south park movie was in the 90s, and it's ratings fell off a couple years into this decade.

Wow, not only is it considered 90s here it's considered 90s by a MILE!

I consider it "1999" because it's such a Gen Y phonomenon.  Although it's gone down a bit today.

"Beavis and Butthead" is the Gen X version of South Park (less warped too  ;D )
