All the above. I don't think MTV went downhill with shows, I think it went downhill with Preppy Mainstream Rap and crappy shows taking over classics like "Daria", "Celebrity Deathmatch", and "Beavis and Butthead".
But 80s MTV kicks the crap out of 2000s or post-1998 MTV. I'd take "Whip It good" or "Video Killed the Radio Star" over "YEAH!", "WHAT!", and "WESTSIDE, PLAYER!".
Where are we?? lol
