Subject: Robert Blake found not guilty

Written By: GWBush2004 on 03/16/05 at 5:05 pm

On the charge of 1st degree murder: not guilty.
On the charge of murder for hire: not guilty.
On another seperate charge of murder for hire: jury hung, charge dismissed.

i just read up on the case. there was no physical evidence to link him to the murder and the prosecution's witnesses weren't believable or trustworthy to the jury. he may have done it and gotten away with it. can this be the perfect crime?

I honestly didn't follow this case enough to know if he was guilty or not.  But I do know they had no physical evidence against him (unlike OJ "Killer" Simpson.)  And one of the people that testified against him was on crack cocaine while the trial is going on.  That no-doubt helped the defense.  I hope the jury made the right decision.

I think more likely than not he did it. But to convict someone you have to be able to PROVE it and not just go on gut feelings. I don't think they had near the evidence to prove it, so I agree with the decision.

No it isn't. They don't have any real EVIDENCE worthy of conviction. All they have is a widespread gut feeling in the public he did it, and some shoddy circumstancial evidence. Thats really about it.

There was a mountain of evidence against OJ, however. That was why it was so stupid for him to get off.

I know...it's just frustrating to even think that he got away with it though :-\\

That's exactly how I feel.

I think Michael Jackson is guilty, hope he is convicted.

Celebrities acquitted on murder charges is not a cause for outrage. It hapens all the time with a justice system as corrupt as the one in Los Angeles or the state of California. OJ hasn't killed anyone (else?). And no matter how crazed Robert Blake is, he probably learned his lesson. Can't wait for Blake's guess starring roll in one of the CSI's. ::)

I had trouble believing he did it because the evidence was not reliable.Plus one of the crackheads may have done it themself and doesn't remember.anyway I don't think Blake was the only possible persomn with a motive.

It's very likely someone else did it;nonetheless it would be a good idea for him to stay away from gold-digging druggie hos--if that means sticking to women his own age, then so be it.

I knoooow!  Rilly, Dude!

I don't know if it's whether I didn't think Blake was guilty based on evidence, or because he could put a great "Awww, jeez, woe is me!" act  He reminded me of those poor old drunks I used to see around Boston, they'd just be minding their little old business on some park bench and a couple of the Hub's finest would come up and hassle him half to death!
If Blake is guilty of anything, it's having bad taste in women!  Who amongst us shall cast the first stone?

As for MJ, I'm sure Jacko does like to diddle, but I'm not so sure this kid isn't lying his azz of on behalf of his grifter momma!

Worry about the civil suit coming up and get a job.  He said he spent nearly all of his money on legal fees.

Or he could do a remake of his series "Hell Town" where he played a bare-knuckled, tough Catholic priest.  ;D

He really is a great actor.  But I read that he is difficult to work with.

Apparently he expects TV scripts to be of the same high quality as some of the movies that he's done.

But Network TV is a meat grinder, where you gotta put out the product in a week, then do another one.  So he would complain about the scripts constantly, and when he didn't get his way was petulant.

Steven J. Cannell said all of this but still respects Blake as an actor.  He said "I just don't know if Robert is cut out to do TV for any period of time."
