Subject: What Year Is The Most Like 2005

Written By: Kyle on 05/01/05 at 2:38 pm

You may seen these type of posts before, but I am putting it in more of a poll than a regular, average, run-of-the-mill type of post.  I say 1998 and 1999 at the most most, be I can also see some snippits of 2000 and 1989, too.  Even though I was born in 1991, I do have a feeling what 1989 is like.  There was no TV attached to my mother's womb, so that must of came off of I Love the '80s: Strikes Back.  ;D  Feel free to submit your own ideas of what resembles 2005, too.  If you're a Futurama fan, you can put 3005 too.

So far it's like 2004, except without a Presidential Election and twice the Michael Jackson coverage.

We need another election to give that creep (Jackson) less air time.

So far it's either 1993 or 1994.

The mid-fifties.  Those days if you wanted to politically assasinate someone you engaged in whisper campaigns about loyalty, anyone who disagreed with the McCarthy machine was labeled a communist, communist sympathizer, or a (here goes the bombshell) a LIBERAL.  Now here we are 50 years later and
once again the term liberal is used, once again, to equate someone who disagrees with the current national political trends as anti-american.  I remember the 50's.  It is "deja vu all over again"
