Hmm... Interesting.. it seems so arbitrary... no particular area that's safer.. just certain cities..

Have these people actually DRIVEN in Iowa?  As you're cruising along at 70+ MPH in the left hand lane, here comes a car from the right lane doing about 55-of course, with IA plates ::)
;D Same out here! I don't know how Colorado Springs made it that high :o The drivers out here suck :D

I'm not one bit surprised that no cities or towns here in New Jersey made the list....the drivers here drive like it's a demolition derby....and pedestrians beware, especially in Atlantic City, the casino buses seem to target pedestrians like a Space Invaders shootout! Recently a casino bus mowed down an Atlantic City policeman...pretty d*mn pathetic, since the cop was directing traffic. A job where a cop is NOT supposed to get killed.

What?  No Boston?  Where's Boston?  Boston drivers are pretty safe, as long as you're in a Sherman tank!
;D

Newark NJ has the dubious honor of 'Carjacking capital of the East Coast'....hmm,where are the cops in Newark...probably at the local Dunkin' Donuts shop...certainly they aren't on the beat...

That's because everyone else was still in bed suffering from their New Year's hangovers. ;)

Driving in Kentucky is like playing a sport.  You can get busted in West Virginia for Agressive Driving, I think that's a decent law imo.

The other day I was driving through Worcester, Mass.  Taking intersections in Worcester is not based on right-of-way principles, but based on DARE!

Max or anyone in the know, I have a quick question, guess it's ok to post as it's kind of like a current event ::) Anyway, how does one pronounce Worcester?  Please just write it out how it sounds, it has perplexed me all my life :-\\

lol, that's a Massachusetts accent, adding the tah.  anyway, I have always added an h in Worcester making it Worchester as in the sauce, but it may be the wrong pronunciation. For that matter is it Massa - chew - setts or Massa - two - setts.  Am getting a bit boggled :D

Here in Absecon NJ we have Route 30....where there are numerous car vs. pedestrian run-ins..

the reason...certain people seem not to know how to use a CROSSWALK...and take their chances JAYWALKING!!

and when one DOES use a crosswalk properly drivers seem to forget that the red light means STOP. It's mostly out-of-state drivers and casino patrons who are in a hurry to get to those darn blackjack tables and slot machines in Atlantic City...why hurry when you're gonna lose your hard-earned cash?

Ever call somedy a "wuss"?  The most "proper" pronounciation is "Wuss-ter"!
;D

The next town over is Leicester, said the same ways as London's Leicester Square, "Lester."
The town in northeast Massachusetts most people get wrong, even people from other parts of Mass, is Haverhill."  It's not "Haver Hill," but
"Hay-vrill."
Those English and their crazy silent letters!

My experience in MA is more Western than Eastern, but when you drive through the Massachusetts Berkshires in a car with NY or NJ plates, be prepared to be tailgated VERY aggressively -- including horn-honking.  And they say Brooklyn's rude?!?  :-\\

You guys will probably all think I'm mad, but the place I feel safest on the road is on a heavily trafficked street in NYC.  People don't go as fast, and speed is what kills.
