Not at all. He's very good but as the story said, Manzarek & Kreiger were not in the right.

It has nothing to do with Astbury. He can sing all he wants, and Manzarek and Kreiger can have a band, but they are not the Doors.

I love it. I'm sure...like John Densmore said, Jim is happy about this. It's like Ringo and Paul forming The Beatles 21st Century....ridiculous :D

Honestly I think Astbury would be better off if he hooked back up with Billy Duffy and reunited the Cult....they seriously kicked major a$$....."Electric" and "Sonic Temple" both CD's that totally ROCK!!!!

I just heard the "New" name is "Riders On The Storm"....too bad it took a court of law to make Manzerek and Kreiger pulls thier heads out. Oh well, at least Densmore had the guts to stand up for his and Morrison's beliefs :)

Whatever happened to the movie Ray was making about The Doors?
Is it ever going to be released?
Would enough people be interested? If they show it and no one goes, does that mean it was ever made? ???

John Densmore making a movie would be much more accurate than anything Ray would do. At least John respects Jim and his wishes while Ray looks to make money no matter what >:(
