Subject: Idols International

Tonight is the night....It is time for (Dutch) Idols Series 3!
If you're interested to see what we had to endure:Here's the website that shows it all. The site also has a lyrics quiz (scroll down). Other items are a review of the Idols Series 1 & 2 candidates and an introduction of the Idols judges, but that's all in Dutch.
Unfortunately, there's not much auditions to be seen. You have to pay for the videolounge, and the other auditions (click on audities, click on "meer video's" under the video preview you see on the next page. This will get you to a selection of a dozen or so videos) don't seem to be downloadable... At least nothing happened when I tried them :-\\
Anyway, if you succeed in watching one of the auditions on the site: your kind or slashing comments (on the candidates, of course ;)) are warmly welcomed.
And what's going on in your country? I'm very interested to know if there's any other Idols series under way...

Our Canadian Idol just recently wrapped up season 3 and a young 17 year old named Melissa O'Neil was crowned the very first female Canadian Idol.
I'm not much of a fan of these Idols, but I admit some of the American ones can sing (Kelly Clarkson, Clay Aiken). I thought that world Idol winner Kurt Nielsen did a good job with "She's So High". That's a Canadian song, and I thought he did a fabulous job with it :)

The girl on this duet is Malaysia's Idol, singing the Idol song with some guy. Check out her vocals at the end!

Quite the voice, eh? And she doesn't look too bad either. Thanks for sharing!
