Of the two, my favorite is The Ring.

Never liked either, but the first one was of course better.

The first one, hands down.

I usually let my voicemail pick it up.  Too many creditors and nuisance people I don't want to talk to.  If I do pick up, I usually wait until the third ring, don't want to seem like I'm just sitting by the phone...

I liked both.. my favorite movies.. but The Ring was a much better movie.. it was a mystery-thriller with horror qualities.. the second was pure horror.

There were a lot of "Wtf?" moments in the Ring 2. Like...wtf was up with all the random deer on the road..?

I think I've been DEsensitized as both were predictable and did not scare me one bit!  ;D

i agree.... they were both great movies and both very scary, but the 1st was scarier because you didn't know the story line so it was more of a surprise when she came out of the tv and stuff. the 2nd one you already knew everthing about the movie.

I'm anxious for the prequel. It should be good, because it's about Samara's life.

Ringu was brilliant but I wasn't too thrilled with the Hollywood version of The Ring. I think that the fact that after the first 20 minutes they completely changed the plot was a very strange thing to do, also it seemed that because Ringu was based on a classic Japanese myth (so my friend Rui tells me) that it was a lot more eerie than the American version, perhaps because it is a story that they had all grown up with, as apposed to something they discovered when they took a wrong turn into the World Cinema section of Blockbuster.

The first one creeped me out. I didn't see the second one though because like the 2nd Blair Witch, looked like it traded in it's uniqueness for a formulated action horror flick.

The Ring was much better.  Creepy.

I really should see Ringu.

There were more scarier moments in The Ring.  To be honest, compared to the first one, I was almost a little disappointed with The Ring Two, but it was still good though :)

Both of them kinda....sucked

I'm anxious for the prequel. It should be good, because it's about Samara's life.
