I'm not sure; I haven't seen/heard of it. By the way, you can't officially "vote" if you're a guest. Why not sign up and become a registered member?
I would love to be the member but how? Need a clue here. The Merchant Of Venice is performed by Al Pacino.

Nathan Lane took over from Richard Dreyfuss in London, I would liked to have seen him perform the role.

Can't say many movies grabbed my attention enough to make me want to see them in the movies.
Ones I did see in cinemas were:
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (Good)
Batman Begins (Better than I expected)
War of the Worlds (Meh)
Sin City (Good)
^ That was it. Others I'll wait til they come out on DVD.

I saw Wedding Crashers in August and still not sure how i feel about it. It had some very funny dialogue with Vaugh & Wilson. I saw Charlie & the Chocolate Factory, War of the Worlds, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Hitch was ok, so based on what I paid to see I would pick War of the Worlds. I don't usually like remakes, but this one was scary and the effects were impressive.

Is this movie good/funny?

i didn't want to see 40-yo-virgin -- the previews looked stupid -- but then I heard it was written or directed or something by the guy who did "freaks and geeks" and that show is pure genius, so I wanna see it now. I'll probably get it on DVD though.

The only movie I saw in a theater this year was "March Of The Penguins"...I loved that one.
Some that I haven't seen yet but would like to see:
Just Like Heaven (even though it's probably out of theaters by now)
Chronicles of Narnia (which is still in theaters)

"Just Like Heaven" was good. It was better than your average romantic comedy - so I recommend that one to you :0)

I just saw Harry Potter 4. I was very dissapointed. It definately doesn't live up to the book, or the first 3 movies. It was strange, and didn't really flow, it was very badly done. Alot of people, who didn't read the book, came out of the cinemas wondering "WTF was the all about?" Very confusing series of events, didn't flow well, and didn't follow the book well.

i liked the first harry potter and after that the rest of em struck me as basically moer of the same. i guess the third was a bit of a departure but not a partiularly good one. (i loved e tu mama tambien, which was by the same director.) i'm not gonna bother with the fourth one, unless my mom makes me see it when i go out to the UK. she likes theese damn harry potter things.

Is this movie good/funny?
Well, if anyone agrees with my bawdy kind of humour, then they would really like this one. It's up there with other rare laugh-out-loud comedies. I don't think I had laughed that hard since maybe "There's Something About Mary" in 1997 (I believe that was 1997) or the Austin Powers films.

a co-worker of mine gave a thumbs up on the 40 year old virgin also. That's a style of humor that appeals to me. sophomoric and raunchy.

Here are just some of my favorite movies of '05:
- Batman Begins
- Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
- Fantastic Four
- Star Wars Episode III
- Mr. and Mrs. Smith
- Dukes of Hazzard
- War of the Worlds
- The Island
- Wedding Crashers
- 40 Year Old Virgin
- Just Friends
- Chronicles of Narnia: Lion, Witch, and the Wardrobe
- Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
There's plenty more films I enjoyed not on the list. I would say 2005 was the best year of this decade so far movie-wise. 2006 just hasn't been able to compete.
