I have no desire to actually go see it, the commercials enough were to give me nightmares.  ;D (Yeah, I'm a wuss)

I can only imagine that this will deter future stays at youth hostels, not only in Europe but here in the US.  ;D  Thankfully I'm too old to actually get into a hostel anymore.  :-\\

He produced it, Eli Roth, the guy who directed Cabin Fever, directs the movie.

other than the use of his name it has nothing to do with him.  He's listed as an executive producer but had no influence on the movie

Either way, they'd be chopped up to pieces I think.

For the folks at home, please remind them what a hostel is... :-\\

That's the important thing.  Always decide for yourself.

A supervised, inexpensive lodging place for travelers, especially young travelers.

For a longer definition:
WHAT ARE HOSTELS?

The answer to this question is becoming more and more difficult to define as hostels are changing all the time. Up until a decade ago hostels offered a unique form of accommodation where rooms were dormitory style with bunk beds, where you may well have had the pleasure of sharing bathroom facilities with up to 30 fellow guests, where you had to be in by midnight or face the prospect of sleeping in the street and where the noise of fellow room mates almost guaranteed many sleepless nights
