Subject: Nostalgia movie set in 2004
Written By: Donnie Darko on 01/17/06 at 3:52 pm
What would a 2004 nostalgia movie have?
Here's some things:
*Kerry-Bush reference
*Usher song "Yeah!"
*Maroon 5 "This Love"
*a reality show scene
*Fashion: forwards baseball caps, some Nike, baggy pants, semi-slutty apparel, some body piercings
*some numetal (ie Incubus)
*Scene with "LOST" or "Desperate Housewives"

Would there be a better year to set a 2000s movie, so far?

Too soon to tell.
Instead of concerning yourself with nostalgia, I suggest you live for today. :)

Good idea :) It's kind of my hobby to review pop culture/the times though. That's how I live for today :)

That reminds me of a song..."Sha la-lalalala, live for today." Sorry, that belongs in the 60's board. :)

Is that an early '60s song?
