I think it would be cool to make a movie based on the Archie comics. Believe me, it would NOT be like that TV movie from the 80s called Back to Riverdale, it would be much better. It would be a teen movie and they could make up some sort of plot, some sort of adventure happens and all the characters get involved. Now the cast is a little tougher, but if I could have my dream casting it would go something like this:

Archie Andrews- Jesse McCartney (they could give him a red wig or dye his hair red)

Betty Cooper- Hayden Panettiere or Hilary Duff

Veronica Lodge- Vanessa Lengies or Mandy Moore (she is good at playing the rich snobby girl, she was on Saved!)

Jughead Jones- He is a tough one, because Jughead was unique, one of a kind character, but maybe Sam Huntington would make a good Jughead or maybe Frankie Muniz

Reggie Mantle- Emile Hirsch or Drew Fuller

I'm not too sure about the other characters. Anyone who wants to list who they think would be good in this "made up" movie can do so.

I think it would be best if they based the movie in the 1950s or 1960s but they could also modernize it and that would be cool too. Anyways,  give me your thoughts about this.

I personally think it would be better to make an animated cartoon series More fits in with the theme of the comics (though I admit I haven't read them for a long time).
