In my mind...
-Gourmet tea and chai.
-Knitting.
-Poker.
-Sudoku.
-Strange, midget cars (Mini-Coopers, VW Beetles, small Hummers)
-Atkins and South Beach diets.
-Real estate development and investment.
'00s looks:
-Preppie (probably started to be big in 03-04)
-Slutty, early '00s girl with exposed thong or guys with t-shirts, caps, and gym shorts or baggy pants.
-The true "hipster"/"emo" look, with messenger bags (started to be big sometime in 2003.) This includes the whole excessive sweater/scarf thing.
-Kanye West look.
-Everything in corduroy and knitted cardigan patterns.
-The preppie with trucker hat "sporting preppie" look.
-The sort of flowery look for girls.
-Cowl neck, long-sleeved sweaters.
-The whole bohemian look, currently very in.
