I'd say if you count the early '90s, the '90s. But the '00s has more big hair than the mid and late '90s.

I think the mid-90's had bigger hair than the 2000s, but the 2000s have bigger hair than the late 90's.

Grammatically this should reach 'which' has more big hair. Infact really 'Which has the bigger hair' would be even better. Sorry but bad grammer really bugs me probably because I'm a Librarian !

The '00s has more big hair. The '90s had the following hairstyles for women: the sort of long and curly "Elaine" do, dreads, the Mariah Carey spiral perm, the Uma Thurman and endless variations on it, the Courtney Love, the Rachel, and the long, super-straight hair. Not terribly big hair.

Yeah, I agree. As a decade the 00's have had bigger hair than most of the 90's so far.

Hair isn't very big lately.. it's just longer.

Yes, yes, it is. As much as I hate bringing the word "EMO" into this (though it was bound to come up eventually), it's the EMO hair.. bands associated with the Indie scene are known for that longer hair for guys, and it's becoming quite popular.

Neither decade has big hair, honestly. Nothing can beat the big hair of the 80's and even the 70's (afros and all that). If I had to choose, I'd say the 90's had more, as the hair bands were still alive and well in 1990 and 1991. Plus, Pauly Shore and Billy Ray Cyrus had bigger hair than anyone in the 00's.
