What things from the '00s would you consider holdovers of the '90s?

A surprising amount of the 00s is a 'holdover' from the 90s, e.g. the fashion, slang, vernacular and of course the music. Slang words like 'sick', 'wicked' and 'awesome' are pretty used pretty frequenty today.

The biggest '90s holdover is rock radio.

Well, not really. I think people forget that not everyone in the '80s, for example, dressed like it was Miami Vice, and lots of people wore clothing not that dissimlar from the late '70s. And the music is pretty dissimlar, that which has a fanbase (not Nickelback.)

I think Creed, Nickelback, et. al. are '90s holdovers. So is Nine Inch Nails, RHCP, etc.
