If Bob Dylan (or maybe Joan Baez) was the 'spokesperson' (or musician spokesman) of the 60s,
Bruce Springsteen was the voice of the 80s,
Then who would you pick as the 'Spokesperson' (musical or otherwise) of the 00s?
I've yet to find anyone to fit the bill...
