Aspiring glam rapper B. Tight wants to rap in the most popular club in Atlanta, but his depressed emo friends think accepting such success is treachery to their clique. B. Tight must choose between his friends and his dream, with the help of megastar 50 Cent, his mentor.

I was actually going to write a book about the oughties...it's about a group of bored suburban teenagers from New Jersey grappling with materialism and all, and the "meaning of angst." Eventually, they run away for Orange County, California over the summer to work at a very vapid-seeming condominium development.

They all have to be Northern transplants to the South. Well, maybe a few should be native Southerners, but they mostly moved from California and New York City and they all live in these absurd developments of McMansions. The glam rapper's father is a real estate developer.

Yeah, some ridiculously shady company. And their house is covered in unnecessary electronics. Like he has a plasma screen TV in his bedroom.
