The oughties and the eighties are definitely comparable in terms of being decades of tech-excess (technology as materialism.) What do you think is the difference between the two, and when do you think this will start to crash in the '00s? Like I think the whole teen excess thing is getting to be way too much, it's at breaking point-I mean, multiple video iPods?
