I like '00s music, but overall I think the '90s had better music.

90s music was better overall. Decent music was way more accessible than it is now.

Yeah, 90s pop wins it out for me. I even prefer it to 80s pop - and my preference for music usually increases towards the Summer of Love, lol.

Early to mid 90s had good music. The late 90s showcased what would be now. Ew.

On the whole, I actually preferred didn't mind quite alot of late 90s stuff - the charts in 1997 were as good as the charts in 1994 were.

I didn't vote because I can't truthfully answer. Pop-Wise, the 90s won. However, in MY type of music, many good albums have been released in the 00s.

There were some standouts as the decade progressed (e.g. Fiona Apple, Jewel, the Verve). I won't deny that. I think the boyband explosion and latin movement bored me.

'00s.  :o

I think the '90s were a weak decade for music.  Too acoustic and "adult" for my taste.

wtf, 'Weak'. You can diss 90s music for alot of reasons, but the music certainly was not 'weak' (whatever that means).  ;D

Too acoustic? pop and hip hop/r&b was probably the most popular on the hot 100. '90s hip/hop and r&b was great.

Definately the '90s. One of my favorites would be "The Sign" by Ace of Base. It's probably a lot of Roadgeek's theme song.

The '00s seem to just be about rap. The only '00s song I like is "Here Without You" by Three Doors Down.

Rap is a big part but there is a lot of other stuff, especially pre 2003. I think there's some real good songs from 2000 even into early 03. Though in the mid '00s rap has overshadowed everything so much.
