It's not as much of a no-brainer as you think. 90s tech HAD its retro appeal, and was in some sense simpler (or more complex and confusing) depending on how you looked at it.

Of course - it'll probably get older than 90s tech did, considering how fast things are moving atm.

The 00s of course. Alot of 90s computers are archaic compared to ones of the market today.

Possibly the only area where the 90s might win out is with the simpler, arguably more 'fun' 2D console games.

well the ones in 98 and 99 were pretty small, not like today of course, but small enough.

This is the only category where I think the '00s beats the '90s hands down.

'00s are obviously better, but I think the '90s were more revolutionary. From 1993 to 2000 technology was almost getting twice as good every year.
