The "ultimate children's party" is to take place at Buckingham Palace to mark the Queen's 80th birthday.

There was live coverage on UK television early and on BBC News Online there should be some pictures.

Probably...he'd attend anything!

I didn't watch it, but I did catch a glimpse after the football...

Rather unfortunately, the 'glimpse' was of HM with a face as long as a kite!

Well, I suppose you can't have a smile plastered on your face all the time!

When they came on I said something about it being the Queen and Prince Philip.  My son asked me which one was Prince Philip, the tall one or the short one!

The incredible experiences that woman has had in her life and the amount of money wasted on her I would bloody expect her to have a smile plastered on her face the whole time.  ;D

Sorry, I don't buy this - just merely an attempt at publicity by The Queen to brainwash yet another generation . . .
