What '80s bands have come back and been popular among youth, and not just the young adults who liked them in the '80s?

Bon Jovi with "It's My Life" back in 2000/01 would be an example.

Bananarama made a comeback last year with the album "Drama" which sent 2 singles into the UK Top 40
Shakin' Stevens returned to the UK charts last year with a cover of Pink's "Trouble"

No, not really. She had comparatively large career declines in 1992 and 1993, had a minor comeback c. 1995 with Bedtime Stories, had another one 1998-2001, and then was horrible around 2003 and came back in late 2005.

Assuming you are from the U.S.A. then well yes she has had a few songs that didn't do that well, but that doesn't mean it was a career decline. For the rest of the world, she did just fine

Here in Canada, every single Madonna has released so far has reached the Top 40 (55 singles). Her 56th single "Get Together" is currently rising in the charts, and I am hoping it will be her 56th consecutive Canadian Top 40 hit 8)

Yeah, Madonna's popularity kind of slumped over here as well in the late 90s/early 00s - I think the dip in her career was when she covered American Pie, which did not seem to earn her any supporters. Of course, she was also busy raising her daughter.etc during this period, but appears to have made something of a comeback with her latest album.
