Subject: The Tubes- Favorite Songs Of the 21st Century

Written By: HawkTheSlayer on 07/10/06 at 4:46 am

That's right, boys & ghouls!

I'm here with a questioning post about my favorite band- The TUBES!

In 2001, the band came out with a 'World Tour 2001' LP.
Prior to this, there was a couple of albums released, called "Genius Of America", and "LiveWire".

Songs included on these are "Loveline", "Digi-Doll", the remake of "She's A Beauty", and "Fastest Gun In the West".
Which songs have you hooked onto, and why?
(That's right- The Tubes won't die, and neither will my threads!)

Although, just a few weeks ago, former Tubes pianist/keyboardist Vincent Leo Welnick passed away at the age of 55. "The Red Wave" was known for his extravagant pianos, his wavy copper-red hair, and his onstage howling. He is survived by his wife, Laurie, and his own band- The Missing Man Project.
He will be sorely missed.
